Events ahoy!

December and January are going to be a very busy time for Subaltern Games (and, by proxy, myself…). This is what’s up:

  • I will be showcasing Neocolonialism at MAGfest from January 3rd-6th. If you’re in the area, you should check it out!
  • Concurrent with the showcase, I hope to kickstart Neocolonialism. The goal of the kickstart would be to extend the time I have to develop the game before I drain my savings, and to provide money I can use to pay contract work. Stay tuned for details…
  • To kickstart, it seems, a pretty game is paramount. Accordingly, much of the past few months have been spent on a MASSIVE overhaul of the UI. The game will be more intuitive and run faster. I also hope to have a pretty trailer…
  • I am giving my talk on educational games at 7:30 PM, December 5th, at the Beacon Hill Friends House in Boston.

So, to recapitulate: In a week, a talk about educational games. In a month, a pretty game, a pretty trailer, a kickstarter, and a showcase.

Busy busy busy…

***EDIT***

This just in! Neocolonialism will be at PAX East for a portion of that weekend! More details will be revealed as I learn them.
