halls and caverns is the AFIKOMEN, a treasure of immeasurable value!
YOUR QUEST is to find the AFIKOMEN.

are standing in the FANCY FOYER of the COLOSSAL CAVE.
It is very dusty.
There is a doormat that says "GO AWAY". (link-reveal: "Maybe the
AFIKOMEN is under it?")[ You find a magical dust-bunny. "Hey!" it says.
"What's the matter with you?! I was napping!" You hastily cover it back
up with the doormat.]
There are a pair of a Giant's boots. (link-reveal: "Maybe the AFIKOMEN
is in them?")[ You accidently smell the inside of the Giant's boots. If
the AFIKOMEN is in them, it's just not worth looking.]
[[West->Dragon Shul]] is the Dragon Shul.
[[East->Decadent Den]] is the Decadent Den.
[[North->Goblintown]] is Goblintown.A
shul, but for dragons.
If you're a dragon, you get a Rarrrr Mitzvah.

There is a tallis bag the size of a small car. (link-reveal: "Maybe the
AFIKOMEN is inside it?")[ There's just a dragon-tallis, forged in fire
from the armor of foolhardy knights.]
There is a stack of shul newsletters. (link-reveal: "Maybe the AFIKOMEN
is hidden under one them?")[ No, but you do learn that Sarah Dragonowitz
just got engaged. Remember when she was just a little Aleph hatchling?

that looks suspiciously like the bones of the person that hid it.]

There is an ominmous curtain. (link-reveal: "Maybe it conceals the
AFIKOMEN?")[ You push aside the curtain. Before you is an
incomprehensible cosmic horror. Nearly losing your marbles, you cover it
with the curtain again.]

They aren't the creepy Harry Potter hook-nosed banker goblins (gee I
wonder where that imagery comes from??????) They're just small green
people with sharp teeth that live underground and try to sell tchotchkes
to adventurers such as yourself.
There's a little Judaica shop. (link-reveal: "Maybe the AFIKOMEN is in
the display case?")[ It isn't, but there's a lovely watercolor of the
afikomen with the word "אפיקומן" written under it (which is Hebrew for
"afikomen"). You buy it for two silver pieces.]
There's a spooky bookstand. (link-reveal: "Maybe the AFIKOMEN is in one
of the books?")[ You open the ancient tomes one by one... one of them is
a trick book!! The bookstand slides aside to reveal a
[[trapdoor.->Treasure Room]]]
[[South->Fancy Foyer]] is the Fancy Foyer.You
descend through the trap door into a secret treasure room.
There is a Wizard.
The Wizard says: "Somewhere in this treasure room is the AFIKOMEN. You
have ONE GUESS. If you guess wrong, you'll be trapped with me forever!!"
Where is the AFIKOMEN?

[[In the pile of the wizard's dirty laundry]]
[[Underneath the jeweled sword]]
[[Everywhere]]"WRONG!"
cackles the Wizard. "Though," he adds, "I don't blame you for trying to
walk away from here with a pile of gold instead of half a piece of
matzah."
[[Continue->THE END]]"WRONG GUESS!" the wizard cackles. "And, for the record, that's my CLEAN laundry. I just haven't put it away yet."
[[Continue->THE END]]"WRONG!"
cackles the Wizard. "That's where I hid the AFIKOMEN last year! You
didn't think I'd hide it in the same place twice, did you?"
[[Continue->THE END]]The
Wizard gasps. "CORRECT!" he says. "Alas, I had hidden the AFIKOMEN
where I keep my staff. But I smushed it by accident. Then I forgot to
clean it up, and I guess the crumbs got everywhere. Anyway,
congratulations, but since you can't actually take the AFIKOMEN out of
here, I guess you're stuck here with me forever."
